Formatting and printing of Student Handbook

No. of Pages: 96 pages plus cover, front & back
Calendar: The calendar will be designed and formatted by vendor for the months of August 2010 -
July 2011. It will need to be one week per page Monday - Sunday. Dates of importance
specific to GTCC will be provided via email on Microsoft Word and must be included
within the calendar.
Color: Cover, front and back prints in two color. Note that front cover bleeds 4 sides. Inside
cover and all text pages print two spot color - no bleeds.
Paper stock: Cover prints on 10 pt. Cover, UNCOATED. Inside pages print to 70 lbs white smooth
uncoated or equivalent stock. GTCC must approve paper stock PRIOR to printing.
Note: If alternate paper stocks are substituted for those specified above, bidder
MUST include samples with the bid package when submitted.
Proofing: Vendor is responsible for supplying a pre-press Blue line proof and
Composite Color Cover proof of Handbook/Calendar for GTCC approval prior to final
printing.
Binding: Completed publication is to be bound with wire spiral binding or double wire (Wire-O) in
black, no exceptions.
College will supply text on Adobe InDesign through email or PDF format. Front & back cover will also be
provided on disk on Photoshop or Illustrator.
