Forest Engineer and Road Maintenance (FERM)
THE SOLICITATION IS POSTED JUNE 5, 2014.
DESCRIPTION: The Fremont-Winema National Forest is requesting quotes on an existing Forest Engineering and Road Maintenance (FERM) blanket purchase agreement in the categories that included pit development, major structures, and road decommissioning. Market research revealed it is the best interest of the government to re-open the (FERM) for the above categories. The intent is to award to multiple vendors for increased competition in these categories.
PROJECT LOCATION: The project area for this solicitation is the Fremont-Winema National Forest.
Contractors shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies (unless specified elsewhere as Government-furnished), and incidentals required to accomplish specified work in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of each individual BPA Call against the (FERM). This BPA will be a multiple-award type contract with no minimum guarantees. The BPA Calls issued under this contract shall require Service Contract Act wage rates or Davis-Bacon Wage rates or both depending on the specific activities within the BPA Call.
Estimated project value will be determined by each individual task order. NAICS 237310 with size $33.5 mil.
The limited number of available contractors in these categories does not permit the Government to set-aside work in lieu of continuing this solicitation as Unrestricted.
In addition to this solicitation for a Blanket Purchase Agreement is a Rock Crushing Project that you may submit an offer on. If you have submitted an offer for the Blanket Purchase Agreement for Pit Development, you may also submit an offer for the Buckaroo Quarry Rock Crushing project located at the Paisley Ranger District of the Fremont-Winema National Forest.
