Forensic Investigation of Corrosion
The SERVICES of the ENGINEER shall consist of the following: 1. Task One: Investigation of active corrosion on existing valves and pipeline. 2. Task Two: Evaluate the potential causes of the corrosion; 3. Task Three: Prepare a report as to the ENGINEER’s opinion as to the cause of the corrosion, and a recommendation of corrective action and the means to prevent further corrosion; 4. Task Four: Provide expert witness testimony services as requested by the BRA for arbitration, mediation and / or litigation that may arise from the corrosion under investigation.
