Food services provider for psychiatric hospitals, day school program and children's residential services
Regional healthcare organization is currently seeking a vendor to provide food services to its psychiatric hospitals, its day school program and children's residential services. Current production consists of 320 meals a day with anticipation of increasing that to include an additional 225 meals on a daily basis. Of those meals served daily, approximately 65 must meet the Child Nutrition Program and National School Lunch Program guidelines required in local day school and child/adolescent residential program.
In addition to the production of meals as described above, the vendor will order food, including meals and snacks, for a large adult residential program serving 175 residents.
VENDOR SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Vendor shall be responsible for all of the organization's food service operations, preparing and serving wholesome, nutritious and appetizing meals to the reasonable satisfaction of this Healthcare System. Vendor shall employ all food service workers utilized in connection with the performance of its obligations and will be responsible for all wages, fringes, employment taxes and worker's compensation for such food service workers. Vendor shall consult with the parent organization regarding food preferences for the monthly menu. Additional requirements are outlined in attached RFP.
