Food Service Operations
The Smithsonian Institution is seeking proposals for the management and operation of the food service facilities located at the Donald W. Reynolds Center (DWRC), the Hirshhorn Museum & Sculpture Garden (HMSG), National Museum of American History (NMAH), National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI), National Museum of Natural History (NMNH), Staff Cafe at the National Air and Space Museum (NASM), and the Smithsonian Institution Building (the Castle) located in Washington, DC. Additional locations which may be added by the Smithsonian during the contract term include, but are not limited to, a new food service operation at the National Museum of the American Indian (NY). The successful offeror will commence operations on October 1, 2014.
If your company is interested in working with the Smithsonian on this program, please review the attached RFP and submit your proposal in accordance with the attached instructions and conditions. This is not a solicitation for a federal contract and is therefore not governed by federal procurement procedures.
To be considered, you must submit two (2) originals and two (2) thumb drives of your proposal as detailed in the attached RFP via hand delivery or overnight courier to the address below by no later than 2:00 PM Eastern time on February 26, 2014. Proposals must be received by this deadline in order to be considered.
