The Smithsonian Institution is seeking proposals for the management and operation of the food service facility located at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, VA ("UHC"). The restaurant, kitchen and related spaces within UHC are referred to herein as the "Facility". The Smithsonian's goal is to have a design plan in place for the remodel of the Facility and begin construction work on or about July 13, 2020, with food service operations to commence once the renovation is complete.

If your company is interested in working with the Smithsonian on this project, please review the attached RFP document and submit your qualifications in accordance with the attached instructions and conditions. This is not a solicitation for a federal contract and is therefore not governed by federal procurement procedures.


DUE DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS


To be considered, you must submit two (2) originals and two (2) thumb drives of your proposal as detailed in the attached RFP via hand delivery or overnight courier to the address below by no later than 2:00 P.M. Eastern time, on February 13, 2019. Proposals must be received by this deadline in order to be considered.
