i. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
ii. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotation number 2014-Q-16562.
iii. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74 effective May 30, 2014.
iv. This Request For Quotation is not set aside under any small business program.
v. Contract Line Item 0001, flow cytometer, installation, training; 1 Unit; firm-fixed-price
Contract Line Item 0002, 1 year service agreement; 4 Quarters; firm-fixed-price
vi. Required specifications: See attachment.
vii. The equipment will be delivered and installed on or before September 30, 2014.
viii. Provision 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition.
ix. The provision FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items is not applicable. Award will be made to the lowest priced offer to meet the required specifications.
x. Offerors should include a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with its quotation.
xi. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
xii. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items is applicable.
xiii. Consistent with commercial practices, a 1 year warranty is required.
xiv. Quotations are due to the Contract Specialist, Patrick Winders by July 3, 2014 at 5:00 PM EDT. All quotations should be submitted by email to [email protected], and the subject of the email should reference "RFQ 2014-Q-16562."
Offerors may submit existing product literature in lieu of unique technical proposals if literature is adequate to determine compliance with the required specifications.
