Fleet Management operates an automated bus wash system. The Department intends to capture, in the future, vehicle usage of the wash rack to be able to charge supported Departments for use of the wash rack. The City’s financial system is presently SunGuard (HTE).
The City is in the process of implementing an AVL system (Radio Satellite Integrators,
Inc). Fleet Services believes the system will include engine telemetric capabilities to
inform the Department of maintenance issues while vehicles are on the road.
