Fitness Facility Memberships
Background - Multiple commands in the United States Coast Guard (USCG) are located in the Ballston Common Mall at 4200 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22203. The USCG requires all Military personnel maintain a proper physical profile for proper duty performance and appearance per the requirements in COMDTINST M1020.8 (series), section 2.0. All Active Duty personnel and reservists on Active Duty for 31 days or more continuously, are required to engage in fitness activity for a minimum of 180 minutes per week.
Scope - The USCG requires memberships to a fitness facility within a 0.5 mile radius of the front entrance to Ballston Commons Mall.
