First Nations Education Steering Committee (FNESC) New/Enhanced User Interfaces to FNESC Data Request for Proposals
1. Summary
This RFP is to solicit proposals for consulting services to improve and simplify access to data andinformation used by FNESC to manage numerous programs and communicate with BC FirstNations, BC First Nation schools, partners, and government agencies.
FNESC has established a small Working Group that will provide guidance, advice and directionfor this project. The main staff contact for this project will be Mike Costello, Senior Director,
Human Resources and Support Services.
FNESC is seeking a qualified Consultant to provide services to complete this project and thetarget completion date is March 31, 2021. The Consultant will:
Review existing data sources and data structures and identify opportunities for
improvement, especially in terms of compatibility of core and program-specific databasesg
Work with a Working Group to design and build simple user-friendly front-end interfaces to
the core set of data, which will be connected to specific program areasg
Develop user-specific reports for the core set of datag
Develop an overall plan and timeline to design and build a new core data user interfaceg
Meet with the project Working Group monthly to discuss progress and emerging issues.
