Combined Synopsis Solicitation:

Title: Firelite Compact Wildfire FCW-206 or Equal

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; submissions are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, transportation, labor, and other items and services necessary to satisfy government requirements.  This request for quote is set aside for small businesses.


 


The Solicitation Number is:  F5N3CR7132AW01.  This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).

Description of Requirement:


 


Line Item          0001          Description:   Firelite Compact Wildfire Skid Kit or EQUAL     Quantity #1       

This requirement is to purchase a Firelite Compact Wildfire Skid Kit FCW-206 OR EQUAL this item will be mounted on a gator and will be used for fighting wildfires on an Air Force Base.  This item willl be of heavy duty construction and will have a Darley-Dave Honda driven AK304 (or equal) 5.5 HP water pump with steel piping and brass valves, and has a two stage system that produces the following approximate water pressures 65 GPM@48 PSI, 50 GPM @81 PSI, 20 GPM@120 PSI.  This skid kit will have a top water tank that will be a 55 gallon poly water tank with all aluminum tubing and diamond plate chassis.  Must have a sight gauge for water tank. Foam feature is not required, the electric rewind is not required.  The 50' with 1" booster hose is required on the manual Hannay 4000 series (or EQUAL) reel.  This item should arrive fully assembled to the delivery location of Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee, Massachusetts 01022.  Freight /shipping/delivery charges should be included in your quote.

Quotes shall be submitted by email no later than 10:00 AM (EST) on Wednesday August 2, 2017, to the 439th Contracting Flight, or USPS mail ATTN:  Kimberly McGee, Contract Specialist, Services and Supplies Branch, 250 Airlift Drive, Westover Air Reserve Base, Chicopee, MA, 01022. PHONE CALLS ARE DISCOURAGED. Any questions regarding this solicitation request MUST be submitted in writing to kimberly.mcgee.2@us.af.mil and theresa.elkins@us.af.mil .


All quotes should be on your company letterhead and will be considered. Any resultant award will be made to the lowest priced offeror providing a technically acceptable offer. The Government anticipates a firm fixed price contract.

In addition to any addendum provided via attachment to this Solicitation, all terms and condition of FAR 52.212-1 remain in effect.


Addendum FAR 52.212-1- Instructions to Offerors - Commercial:  Period for acceptance of offers. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers, unless another time period is specified in an addendum to the solicitation.

52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Oct 2014),

The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:

Each offeror shall ensure the provision at FAR 52.212-3, including its Alternate I, Vendors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, (Jan 2017), are updated at www.sam.gov. Failure to obtain SAM registration May result in submissions not being considered for award.

Addendum FAR 52.212-3 - If offeror is NOT SAM registered then quotes must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 section (c).
