Firefly Consulting, LLC Lean Six Blackbelt Curriculum
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to award an order to Firefly Consulting, LLC. for the purchase of Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt Curriculum. This purchase will provide the OCC with a license to use the Blackbelt Curriculum and material in perpetuity; enabling the OCC to teach the curriculum to all OCC employees and two employees a year from the Department of Treasury and its agencies.
The OCC is in need of purchasing the Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt Curriculum from Firefly Consulting because Firefly Consulting is the only vendor in the marketplace that can satisfy the OCC's needs for the following reasons:
a) The are the only vendor in the marketplace that possesses a Lean Six Sigma Curriculum that matches the content the OCC already uses to train its Lean Six Sigma Black Belts
b) They are the only vendor in the marketplace that possesses a Lean Six Sigma Curriculum that matches the instructional methodology the OCC has used since its adoption of Lean Six Sigma in 2004.
This requirement will have a period of performance of 06/19/2014 - 06/18/2015. Firefly Consulting is the sole creator, owner, and distributor of the needed requirement. There are no other vendors in the marketplace that can satisfy this requirement.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, firms that believe they can provide a service that fully meets the Government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact within (5) days after publication of this synopsis. Such documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a competitive basis, based upon the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
