RFP : Fire Station Alerting System in North Carolina, United States

The City of Charlotte Fire Department desires to obtain an experienced firm to design, install and maintain a Fire Station Alerting System. This System should only alert the needed Fire Stations while not disturbing others through their Public Announcement System (PA). The PA systems at the Fire Stations that are not being dispatched will remain closed and will not hear the broadcast. The new Station Alerting System will be able to use both Radio and IP mediums. The selected System should provide open-architecture interface to facilitate seamless upgrades or replacements in the future and also shall be scalable.
