Fire Rescue Boat
The City is seeking proposals from qualified firms or contractors with demonstrated experience in the manufacture of welded aluminum catamaran Rescue Boats and trailers. The City proposes to engage the contractors for the following for delivery: a. Manufacture and delivery of one (1) welded aluminum catamaran Rescue Boat with trailer. The hull length shall be 35 with an overall length of 37; a landing craft bow door, a wheelhouse with two (2) doors and Webasto forced air cabin heater; two (2) 350 HP Yamaha four-stroke outboard engines; and full instrumentation and electronic controls. b. The trailer shall be heavy-duty and shall include installed oversize load signage. The design and construction shall meet current American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) standards. The successful contractor will be expected to enter into a not-to-exceed Services Contract with the City (reference Exhibit A).
