The VA Network Contracting Office 2, on behalf of the New York Harbor Healthcare System St Albans campus (located at 179-01 Linden Blvd., St. Albans, NY 11425-1428), is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this urgent requirement for Replacement of a Fire Pump used in the operation of the Facility Sprinkler System. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 238220, whereas the small business size standard is $15 Million.
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
The core work requirements under this synopsis are as follows:
a. The contractor is to furnish and install new fire pump package to include the following:
(1) Fire pump that meets NFPA code requirements, 500 GPM minimum
(2) Jockey pump comparable with the new fire pump
(3) Two OS&Y valves
(4) Fire pump control panel
(5) Test fire pump upon completion
b. Contractor must perform site visit and verification of system pressure and flow calculations.
If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, DUNS number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; 2) Whether the Organization has a Federal Supply Schedule contract that includes already established pricing in support of this requirement; and 3) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort.
The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated.
BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.
Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by February 28, 2017 at 1:00PM EST.
