The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Texarkana, Texas, intends to issue solicitation 15B51519Q00000009 for the requirement of Metal Doors and Weld on Hinges. The NAICS code for this requirement is 332321. Offers will be FOB destination with delivery beginning April 1, 2019.
The contract type will be firm-fixed price. The evaluation factors are price and past performance. Price will be rated higher than past performance. The Government will award to the responsible offeror (s) whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be the most advantageous to the Government. Failure to deliver within the established times frames will be considered as non-conformance under the contract terms.
The solicitation will be made available on or about January 16, 2019 and will be posted to the General Services Opportunities website www.fbo.gov . All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. The anticipated date for receipt of quote is February 6, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. Each offeror (s) is required per FAR 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-Line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at www.orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based organizations and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. The anticipated date of award is February 15, 2019.
Prior to the Fabrication phase, the Awardee will be afford a sight visit to confirm the measurement on each line item.
