City is seeking proposals to install monitored fire alarms in 30+ individually owned commercial structures. All existing mixeduse buildings must have a monitored fire alarm system installed. The project has received Federal CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) funding to cover a portion or all of the cost to install the systems in most buildings. With the CDBG funds come some additional requirements including prevailing wage rates for installers.
