Fiber Optic Cabling
The United States Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Coastal Services Center (CSC) Charleston, SC, utilizing the procedures at Federal Acquisitions Regulations Part 13, has a requirement for CSC has the need to update its old 62.5µ fiber optic cabling plant using LX4 module technology with a more modern OM4 50µ fiber technology with the ability to use SR fiber optic technology. A site visit is scheduled and details regarding the site visit are located in the Statement of Work. Offers are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. This is a 100% small business set aside procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210, with a size standard of $14 million. The Government's estimated cost for this requirement is not expected to exceed Simplified Acquisition Threshold. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. Interested parties are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any) and monitoring the website to ensure that they have the most up to date information regarding the acquisition. Proposals/Offers shall be submitted in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the statement of work (SOW).
