Fiber Channel Interface Units (FCIU)
Avionics Interface Technologies shall provide six (6) Fiber Channel Interface Units (FCIU). The FCIU units are highly specialized and available only from Avionics Interface Technologies, the original developer and manufacturer. Under the approved class J&A, the Government may purchase up to fifteen (15) units within a three (3) year time limit.
The FCIU units needed by the NAWCWD need to be identical in form, fit, and function with the previously supplied units.
