The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO) on behalf of MEDCOM is soliciting market research information from industry to determine the scope of industry capabilities and interest for Fee Basis Providers.  The market research determination will be used to determine sources in the marketplace to perform the services.

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY.  This RFI is part of a Government market research effort to determine the scope of industry capabilities and interest and will be treated as information only. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responses to this RFI are strictly voluntary and the government will not pay respondents for information provided in response to this RFI. Responses to this RFI will not be returned and respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. This RFI does not restrict the Government's acquisition approach on a future Solicitation. The Government will not respond to questions submitted by industry in response to this RFI.

The anticipated period of performance is 1 Oct 17 through 31 Jan 2018, and will include FAR Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services; potentially extending the period of performance through 31 Jul 18.

The North American Industry Classification System Code for this service is 621111 – Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists).  The Small Business Size Standard is $11M.

The contractor will perform medical histories, physical examinations, and reviews of required medical tests and documents pertaining to consultations and medical histories on applicants of the Armed Forces at 65 Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) and a remote processing station located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
