Feasibility Study on Electric Utility Ownership
The ultimate goal of the study will be to determine if transferring ownership from a privately owned company to a publicly owned electric utility is feasible, and if so, how that transfer would reduce the cost of energy for the ratepayers while concurrently reducing the costs to the State in the Power Cost Equalization (PCE) Program.
