Feasibility Study for 2 Proposed Stormwater Retention/Detention Facilities
The City of Beaver Dam has experienced localized flooding at various locations throughout the city over time due to development, aging infrastructure, and related rainfall intensity/system capacity issues. Vacant land exists for sale in both of the subject areas that could potentially lend themselves for stormwater detention/retention purposes, if determined to be feasible from a stormwater management aspect, as well as determine whether proposed sites would assist in the cities goal to meet NPDES and TMDL regulations; qualities of engineering effectiveness, financial affordability, and public acceptability also to be analyzed with this study.
