Farrier Service
The 502d Contracting Squadron is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for Farrier Service for twelve (12) horses that are assigned to Caisson, Military Funeral Honors, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This solicitation is for commercial services and is prepared in accordance with the format in subpart FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A Firm Fixed Price contract will result from this solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number is FA3016-18-U-0076 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 115210- Support Activities for Animal Production with a Size Standard of $7,500,000.00.
This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC), No. 2005-96, Effective: 6 November 2017. This RFQ will be solicited as a commercial simplified acquisition in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 13.5.
This solicitation is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the United States Air Force. The Government is NOT liable for any costs and/or activity associated with providing a response to this announcement.
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supervision, supplies, labor, transportation and tools necessary to complete this contract as defined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) dated 6 March 2018.
Questions regarding this solicitation will be accepted until FRIDAY 16 March 2018 by 12:00 pm (Central Standard Time).
Quotes are due no later than FRIDAY 23 March 2018 by 12:00 pm (Central Standard Time).
