Family Reunification Program
Bidders Conference: June 27, 2007 starting at 1:00pm local time located at
DHHS 442 Civic Center Drive, Augusta (Conference room 1A & 1B)
The State of Maine, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Office of Child and Family Services, Child Welfare Services, is seeking proposals for qualified community-based providers to implement the Department's Family Reunification Program (FRP). Eight contracts will be awarded to one bidder per district for each of the eight districts. Each district's contractor will establish an FRP team, consisting of a supervisor, a team leader, and two support workers to cover the towns served by that district.
Noted exception: District 4 will be awarded to one bidder who will staff two FRP teams (one team consisting of a team leader and two support workers to cover towns served by the Augusta Office and one team consisting of a team leader and two support workers to cover towns served by the Skowhegan Office).
The districts for this Request for Proposals are as follows. (Please note: DHHS is realigning districts and this realignment is expected to be in place by the start of this contract period):

District 5 - Lincoln, Knox, Waldo, Sagadahoc - Rockland
District 6 - Penobscot, Piscataquis - Bangor
District 7 - Washington/Hancock - Machias, Ellsworth
District 8 - Aroostook - Houlton, Caribou & Fort Kent
Eligible to Bid: All public and private non-profit corporations and institutions, as well as for-profit entities.
