Facility Infrastructure Inprovements
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service Northern Research anticipates awarding a contract for the following project at the Northern Research Station in Grand Rapids Minnesota. The project will include the removal and disposal of EPDM membrane (and ballast), existing insulation to remain. Add additional insulation to bring minimal thickness to 4" and install new, fully-adhered, EPDM membrane. The project may also include the remove and dispose of EPDM roof membrane (and ballast), and remove existing insulation to roof sheathing. Install new insulation to a minimal thickness of 4" and install new, fully-adhered, EPDM roof membrane.
The project will also include the remodeling and reconstruction in 5 offices. Work of the Project includes but is not limited to:
1) Demolition of identified infrastructure; concrete slab reconstruction, installation of a cooler/freezer; new lighting, door, cabinet unit heater.
2) Demolition of identified infrastructure; replacement of dust collector, installation of a make-up air unit; new benches, lighting, hydronic radiators, and finishes.
3) Dissemble and retain for Owner, existing shelving units; modification of existing door; installation of new mobile storage shelving units.
Required: Twenty (20) percent bid guarantee, 100 percent performance bond will be required. The solicitation will only be available from the website.

There will be a pre-bid/site visit on July 11th at 2:00 (Central Time) at the USDA Forest Service, Northern Research Station
