Facility Design Review and Repurposing
The Department is currently seeking an external consulting agency to evaluate the space usage of the Regional Correctional Facility. The evaluation sought will consist of a comprehensive assessment of the physical plant in accordance with the basic living conditions, security, safety, and program needs of the female inmate population. Furthermore, the evaluation needs to address the facility design; living units in relations to separating populations by need; the adequacy of program space; and recommend changes in order to meet the service needs of the female populations and the overall security, safety and living condition requirements of a secure correctional facility.
