Facility Demolition
INTRODUCTION
The Postal Service is interested in developing a Source List of highly qualified demolition contractors for an upcoming project in the Los Angeles CA area.
The general scope of work is as follows:
Demolition and hall away the entire facility, the site to return to its original condition (flat land) all materials to be removed off site. The basement hole to be filled in with imported soil and to be compacted per all applicable codes and geotechnical engineer of record recommendation. The potential cost of this project is up to $10M.
The demolition is to follow all local and state applicable codes and USPS SDC & specifications.
Note:
1-If required by the city and county of Los Angeles the contractor is to obtain permitting for Demolition and Debris Recycling and Reuse.
2-All asbestos containing material (ACM) removal and disposal to follow all applicable environmental requirement and procedures along with the USPS environmental requirement which ever more stringent.
3-Per AE along with geotechnical engineer approval it may be feasible to use some of the material as base material for future construction and reduce the overall cost).
The information you provide will be the basis for the evaluation of your company to be placed on the Source List for this project. To ensure your submittal is given full consideration, you must do the following:
• Read this attachments carefully to make sure you understand what is required.
• Do not leave any portion of a forms blank; indicate N/A if not applicable.
• Upload your submittal to the event in Emptoris by the due date and time.
Your completed Prequalification Package document(s) must be uploaded to the solicitation event on the USPS eSourcing site, Emptoris. The system can be accessed at: https://uspsprod.emptoris.com.
New users must successfully register in Emptoris and once your firm is approved, you must request access to the event via email to the USPS contacts listed in fbo.gov, no phone calls please.

Submittals must be uploaded in one pdf to Emptoris by 3:00 PM EST on March 12, 2019.
