Facilitation, Mediation and Conflict Management

The Maine Department of Environmental Protection in 2002 contracted with a number of consultant facilitators to provide facilitation, mediation and conflict management services for public meetings and other Department functions. The Department again intends to establish a list of pre-qualified consultants to provide these services.

The Department invites proposals to provide such services, on an as-needed basis over a two-year contract period, July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2008. At the discretion of the Department, contracts may be renewed for up to an additional two years. It is the intention of the Department to contract with a variety of mediators/facilitators. Consultants are invited to demonstrate qualifications.
