Facilitation, Mediation & Conflict Management Services

Since 2002, the Department has contracted with a number of consultant facilitators to provide facilitation, mediation and conflict management services for public meetings, stakeholder work, and other Department functions. The Department again intends to establish a list of pre-qualified consultants to provide these services. Please note: any consultant or consultant firm who has previously provided these services to the State of Maine is not automatically pre-qualified, and must submit a proposal in accordance with the instructions shown below in order to be considered for future assignments.
The Department invites proposals to provide these services. The services shall be provided on an as-needed basis over a two-year contract period, July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2012. At the discretion of the Department, contracts may be renewed for an additional two years. It is the intention of the Department to contract with a variety of mediators/facilitators. Consultants are invited to demonstrate their qualifications through this procurement process.
