The purpose of this project is to renovate and repair Building 2262 to house permanent party airmen associated with the beddown of the F-35A fighter aircraft. Work shall include architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, communications and security upgrades, as well as hazardous material abatement. All work is to be done at Eielson AFB, Alaska.
The Government is contemplating a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Sealed Bid contract.
IAW FAR 36.204(g): The estimated magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000
This posting is an Invitation for Bids. BIDS MUST BE VALID UNTIL 31 DECEMBER 2019 AND THE BID GUARANTEE IS WAIVED FOR THIS PROJECT. Respondees are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this solicitation; all costs associated with responding to this solicitation will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this solicitation does not preclude participation in any future IFB, if one is issued. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
