F-35 PMR Support 2017
The F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office intends to issue an order under Basic Agreement N00019-16-G-0002 on a sole source basis to United Technologies Corporation, Pratt and Whitney Military Engines, East Hartford, CT to provide F135 Propulsion System support for Program Management Reviews. Contract award is anticipated for the second quarter of fiscal year 2017. This order supports the F-35 International Partners. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete these proposed contract actions based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
