F-15 Silver Fleet Rewire Program Alternate Installation Facility

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (SSS) ONLY. This SSS is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This SSS does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the United States Air Force (USAF) is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this SSS; all costs associated with responding to this SSS will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this SSS does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued.
The purpose of this SSS is to identify interested sources to provide additional capacity to install 63 Rewire TCTO kits on 63 F-15C/D aircraft (1 kit per aircraft) within 3-4 calendar years at contractor operated facilities located within the Contiguous United States (CONUS). The aforementioned 63 kits includes two kits for Validation and Verification. The F-15 Silver Fleet Rewire replaces all wiring in the forward and center fuselage in an effort to bring the F-15 Silver Fleet into a common wiring configuration with the rest of the USAF F-15C/D fleet. Location and required support should be able to accommodate at least 12 aircraft per calendar year.
