 This requirement will be solicited on a sole source basis from UTC Aerospace Structures (Cage Code: 51563) a LB under NAICS 336413.    FOB: Origin; A written RFP will be issued.  The anticipated Date of Award is 30 Sep 2017. This award will be an addition to an indefinite delivery type long term Contract (SPE4AX-13-D-9401) with UTC Aerospace Structures is contemplated (FY18 Addition: Wing Tips 10 Each LH & RH, Ailerons: 200 Each LH, 300 Each RH.).

This requirement is for the acquisition of two Wing Tips, P/N: 68B117000-101 (LH) and 68B117000-102 (RH) well as two Ailerons, P/N: 68B170000-107 (LH) and 68B170000-108 (RH) in support of the F-15E as follows:

 One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the Free Trade Agreements.


 All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.


 Note 22: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Note 26: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
