FT RANDALL ROTOR SPIDER NDT
This is a non-personal services contract to provide nondestructive testing, paint removal and touchup painting on the Fort Randall generator rotor spiders. NDT methods shall include visual inspection and phased array ultrasonic testing (PA-UT). Magnetic particle testing or any other test method deemed necessary by the
Contractor may be used in areas not practicable for PA-UT upon approval by the Government. Services may also include paint removal and painting. The government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the contractor who, in turn is responsible to the government. This is a fixed priced, performance based service contract where the government defines and measures desired outcomes, while contractor methods are generally not constrained or directed.
