DUE TO SYSTEM ISSUES, SOLICITATION NUMBER SPE7MX15R0022 WAS CANCELLED AND NOW SPE7MX15R0032 WILL BE USED FOR THIS PROCUREMENT.
The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 142 NSNs from Federal Stock Class (FSC) 5935, Electrical Connectors. All NSNs are Qualified Product List (QPL) items. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with a three year base period and two option years is anticipated.
The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed five years. Applicable NAICS is 334417 and Small Business Size Standard is 500. Solicitation will be unrestricted with full and open competition. The solicitation will be available on December 3, 2014, at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/. Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Origin is required. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery as described in the solicitation.
This solicitation is being issued under the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program. For FDT program transportation requirements, see DLAD clauses 52.247-9059 F.O.B. Origin, Government Arranged Transportation and 52.247-9058, First Destination Transportation (FDT) Program - Shipments Originating Outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS). Additional information about FDT can be found on the FDT website http://www.dla.mil/FDTPI/. All items will be FOB Origin. Inspection/acceptance will be either destination or origin depending on the quality requirements of each NSN and will be identified on the Section B Spreadsheet.
Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
