The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, Norfolk, VA on behalf of the National Marine Fisheries Services is soliciting a requirement to conduct a marine recreational fishing survey to monitor the for-hire fishing activities on the Atlantic Coast. The vendor must follow specifications within the attached Statement of Work.


This RFQ is full and open. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 921190.


Solicitation number EA-133F-15-RQ-0077 will be issued November 21, 2014 and will close December 5, 2014 at 12:00pm EST.


The total period of performance for all work specified in the Statement of Work is estimated to start January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015 (with a base and two (2) one-year Option Years).


The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors specified in the solicitation.


All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is on or about December 11, 2014. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted).
