FLIR Cell Optical Element Repair

PURPOSE/DESRIPTION
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the repair expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to provide repair for the B-52 Forward Looking Infrared Sensor (FLIR) Cell Optical Element components listed below:

The FLIR window is a component of the environmental protection system for the FLIR scanner. The window, which is sized to meet the field of view requirements of the FLIR scanner, provides and optical aperture in the Electro Optical Viewing System (EVS) Turrets. The window pane has provisions to be heated for anti-icing and defogging. These services include the repair service is for a period of performance from the contract award date through five (5) years, consisting of a 12-month basic ordering period plus four (4) additional 12-month ordering periods. The requirement is for the repair of Cell Optical Element NSN 1240-01-335-3300 and P/N 32-29483-501.
The Cell Optical Element has a Repair Method Code (RMC/RMSC) of "R1/G". RMC R1: Suitable for competitive repair for the second or subsequent time. RMSC G: The Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete, and there are no technical data, engineering, tooling or repair restrictions.
