FISH HEALTH LAB UPGRADE
The U. S. Geological Survey, Leetown Science Center has a requirement to upgrade and replace existing lab fixtures, i.e. casework, counter tops, fixtures, sinks, benches, etc. in (7) labs. The furniture was installed between 1978 - 1989 and has developed some faults and damages through the years. The research has changed using different chemicals and equipment meaning existing case work, bench tops need replacement. There are several wooden caseworks existing. Project is located in Kearneysville, WV 25430. The project shall be completed within 120 days after notice to proceed is issued.
There are no option periods.
The magnitude of construction is under $200,000 - $350,000
Request for Proposal (RFP) 140G0118R0032 will be issued on or about 06/20/2018 with written proposals due on or about 07/20/2018.
A site visit will be held. A minimum of 24 hours advance notice shall be given for attendees of the site visit. Contractors are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit.
This acquisition is total small business set-a-side. The NAICS code is 236220. The size standard is $36.5 million.
The anticipated award date of the contract is 08/20/2018.
A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/index.html to be awarded the contract.
