The Countys
experience demonstrates a successful application of the Title III provisions in the Act to
fulfill the national goals and objectives expressed by Congress in this legislation, and to
educate residents about the importance of wildfire prevention planning, which immediately
benefits rural constituents and the two U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service
agencies located within the County. The Countys estimated available funding for the
2008/2009 fiscal year is $263,072.
