Combined Synopsis/Solicitation:
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7; hereby provides notice of its intent to award a firm fixed price contract for an Annual Fire Alarm Inspection/Testing, Fire Alarm Monitoring, Repairs as well as a Sprinkler System Inspection/Testing, and Maintenance Services located at the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina.

*This solicitation was also posted under VA247-17-Q-0040 on January 9, 2017; this solicitation has been reworked with an updated SOW with full requirements and details to ensure all bid offers understands the full scope of work required and proper bid offers are received.

This contract will have a possibility of four (4) option years after the base year expiration.

Please ensure the Statement of Work and the evaluation criteria for this procurement is read thoroughly. The Contractor must be able to provide 24-hour emergency services and monitoring; seven days a week, 365 days per year. Emergency calls must be responded to within 2 hours.

Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
All qualified candidates will be verified in VIP in order to be eligible for award. Required set-aside is strictly enforced.
If you have not conducted business with the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center located in Columbia South Carolina, you will be required to complete Vendor/Payment Forms to be entered into the local systems in order to be eligible for award.
Please ensure all bid offer emails are titled referencing the Solicitation Number and Title of Service i.e. VA247-17-Q-0211 Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Testing so that they may be placed in the proper file folder for consideration. Failure to do so may cause a delay in the evaluation process.
All interested parties shall submit clear and concise documentation as required under the Evaluation Criteria demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above along with their bid offer to Contracting Specialist, Cynthia Machuca at cynthia.machuca@va.gov.
