THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.  The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is seeking additional sources for hydraulic filters in accordance with MIL-PRF-81836B, Filter and Disposable Element, Fluid Pressure, Hydraulic, 3 Micron Absolute for listing on Qualified Products List (QPL) 81836.  MIL-PRF-81836B is available on ASSIST https://quicksearch.dla.mil/ and may be obtained by using the "Document Number" search box and entering 81836. 
The filter and filter element covered by MIL-PRF-81836 will be used in aircraft hydraulic ground support test equipment.  The filter and element will operate at pressures of 5,000 or 8,000 psi in a salt air environment.  These hydraulic fluid pressure filters and disposable filter elements must retain all particles larger than three microns absolute.
THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION.  With respect to products requiring qualification, awards will be made only for products that are, at the time of award of contract, qualified for inclusion in QPL-81836 whether or not such products have actually been so listed by that date.  Contractors should be aware of requirements specified in MIL-PRF-81836B. Manufacturers should arrange to have the products that they propose to offer to the Federal Government tested for qualification in order that they may be eligible to be awarded contracts or orders for the products covered by MIL-PRF-81836B.  Guidance for manufacturers and their authorized distributors who wish to submit products for qualification by NAWCAD are available from the Provisions Governing Qualification (SD-6).  The SD-6 is available at ASSIST, https://quicksearch.dla.mil/. ; Additional information and questions pertaining to qualification of products to MIL-PRF-81836B may be obtained from rose.webster@navy.mil.
