This is a Firm Fixed Price Request for Quotation (RFQ), No. 693JJ318Q000013, being issued by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Office of Acquisitions and Grants Management for FHWA's Corporate Membership with the American Society of Civil Engineers.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Only this suggested source can furnish the requirements, to the exclusion of other sources, because of the type of service needed. For that reason, the Government intends to acquire these supplies and services on a noncompetitive basis from The American Society of Civil Engineers. However, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
This OPEN-MARKET solicitation is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, the acquisition of commercial items in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award as prescribed in FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-96.
This solicitation is an UNRESTRICTED and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 813920 with an industry size standard of $15.0 million. A responsible quoter is one whose offer conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. To be eligible to receive a Government Contract a contractor must be registered and active in www.SAM.gov prior to award.
