FCS Common CPU Development
The Contractor shall perform development activities associated with the following effort:
1. Design the FCS common CPU in accordance with SSI Increment 13 Mod 6/7 Program Plan (all revisions through Subsystem CDR) as defined in OD 69299 OD 61424, SP23 Shipboard Systems Development and Deployment Policies and Procedures and OD 6297, Strategic Systems Project Hardware Development Plan.
2. Procure Qualification and ETS CPU assets.
Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the United States and United Kingdom TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
