FACSymphony A5 SORP
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intend to negotiate on an other than full and open basis with the vendor BD Biosciences, 2350 Qume Dr, San Jose, CA 95131 for FACSymphony A5 SORP. 1). See the attached Bill of Materials. This will be a firm-fixed-price award in accordance with the statutory authority for this sole-source requirement 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 only one source available, no substitutions possible. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. All responses in writing shall be submitted to Lawrence Bland Jr. at blandl@nih.gov. All responses received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
