This is a one-time precision measurement equipment repair. A Mahr Digimar CX1 Height Stand and Mahr Digimar DX1 Control Box is assigned to the 86TH Maintenance Squadron (quantity 2). The proposed contract action is for the repair and replacement parts needed to bring the Mahr equipment back to working order. The items are specific to the existing system and manufactured by Mahr Federal Inc.
This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government's requirement with commercial items and are received within three (3) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
