This combined synopsis/solicitation is for forty (40) metal Component Storage Cases. The shall be in accordance with the attached specifications and drawings. For information regarding the quote, see the attached RFQ.
The characteristics are as follows:
(a) The case measures 18 inches by 16 inches by 6 inches, including hardware. The material shall be 5052 H32 aircraft grade aluminum with powder coated silver paint.
(b) The exterior of the case shall have two grip handles, one on each opposite side. It shall have a piano hinge on one side with two latches opposite the hinge with a cable tie security feature.
(c) The lid shall contain a Plexiglas window measuring 12 inches by 10 inches by ¼ inches.
(d) The interior shall be four equal sized cavities, each lined on each side and bottom with neoprene foam.
(e) Production of the component storage cases shall meet all specifications in the attached drawings and be subject to inspection upon delivery.
This acquisition shall be 100% HUBZone set-aside IAW FAR 19.1305(b)(1) & (2). NAICS 332439, Size Standard 500 employees. Quotes shall be submitted no later than 3:00pm MST on 27 June 2014.
