The current approved sources are: Pratt & Whitney, Unison Engine Components, Adchem Manufacturing, and AGC Incorporated. Qualification requirements exist and only qualified sources will be considered at time of award. Enginering notes and drawings will be included with this announcement. Only contractors that have submitted a DD2345 and received approval will be able to access this data. A first article requirement will apply to contractors who have not manufactured this part within the last 36 months. Waivers are possible given certain conditions. The approximate posting date of the solicitation is 1 August 2014.
Solicitation SPRTA1-14-R-0346 replaces solicitation SPRTA1-14-R-0215 which was cancelled due to the requirement was set-aside for small businesses and no proposals were received.
