Exterior Wall Panel Restoration
The Department intends to obtain professional architectural / engineering services to
develop bidding documents for complete restoration and repair work on the exterior wall
panels for the Maintenance Building. Plans for wall panel restoration shall include recladding
or replacement of the exterior panels however power washing, surface repairs,crack repairs, re-grouting, re-caulking, re-painting, color matching, proper chemical and
product specification/ treatment should be considered if the deterioration of the exterior
panels warrant repair work. Also, possible energy efficiency strategies to improve
building envelope, etc. should be evaluated for the building. Services shall include
coordination meetings, preparing complete construction documents, obtaining necessary
specialty consultants, contract administration, site and inspection visits, and other normal
professional services.
