Expression of Interest (EOI) for ILAW Pallets
Washington River Protection Solutions, LLC (WRPS) as a prime contractor to the U.S. Department of Energy, is issuing this Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) as market research to identify parties having an interest in fabricating forty-three (43) carbon steel pallets and forty-eight (48) mounting plates for transporting radioactive waste packages. Four prototype pallets and a specially designed transport trailer have been fabricated and are currently being tested. The final design of the pallets is expected to be completed in April 2019. All drawings, specification, and final datasheets will be provided subsequently
as part of the Request for Proposal (RFP) package. The mounting plates are designed to be affixed to three transport trailers (by others), used to secure the pallets to the trailers.
