Express Toll Lanes
The project typically involves the reconstruction of 1.6 miles of the existing eight lane divided
highway to eight General Purpose Lanes and four Express Toll Lanes (Managed Roadway)
separated by concrete traffic barriers; and realignment and widening of MD 43 from four lanes to
six lanes for a distance of approximately 1.1 miles through the interchange.
